Exos was founded by Kari Koljonen and Anders Tärnström in 2004. From the beginning we set up a vision and a focus.
Exos is determined to help processors by offering state of the art bone-removing equipment which will increase speed, yield and efficiency.
For a new company this is a cocky statement, so let us try to give you the history behind these words.
In the beginning there were nothing. When Kari in the late eighties started working with the problem how to remove pin bones, no one had succeded building a mechanical remover.
Kari filed his patent in 1992 for what we belive is the first semi-automatic pin bone remover in the world, formed his company Rocotech and continue developing and selling manually operated pin bone removers.
These products and patents are now incorporated in the Exos product portfolio. So far over 600 of Kari´s products have been sold over the world.
So even if our company is young, there is a lot of experience built into our machines..
